this may be obvious, but clicking customize and dragging all the icons, as well as the address bar and google bar up to the file bar (use tiny menu addon to collapse dropdowns) means everything fits onto 1 toolbar space. if you're not into fullscreening, this is a close second.

Using 8.10 here.
I'd say that remapping f11 seems unnecessary anyway, as you can go to System -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shorcuts, and in "Change to full screen mode", assign whichever key combination you want. For example the super key, if you like the default that comes from dell's.

Isn't that easier?

Remapping F11 may now not be necessary. With the latest BIOS update (A02), Dell implemented F11 as Fn+Z and F12 as Fn+X.
I am testing it with the stock Ubuntu min and it works great.

Foxmarks is great.
I like the colorful tabs options as well as Speed dial which looks like Google Chrome default page with its 9,12,16 boxes.

Two other ones are Gmail Manager to keep track of our 6 Gmail addresses
As well as a Yahoo Mail notifier for the yahoo email.
